World Usability Day - 8th November 2007

I'd written a post earlier about utility and design. And here is an occasion to spread some more word about it. All of us at some time or other have encountered many badly designed products and services. From your computer keyboard to your bathroom taps... many a times we might have asked ourselves 'what did they thought while making this uncomfortable product...that we'd love using it?'.

Now, there is actually a forum which discusses such issues and promotes the concept of user-friendly design. The World Usability Day is for us, all of us. It's is an initiative by 'The Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA)'. Celebrating an annual 'Global Event To Create Awareness for Usability'.

Read the official World Usability Day press release for all the necessary details.
